It is with immense sadness that we announce the loss of our dear Friend, Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather Babajide Olaseinde Olagundoye, on 15th February 2024. Jide was a loving husband and a devoted father, who always put his family first in all that he did and was immensely proud of what his wife and children had achieved.

A devout Christian, Jide was an active member of the New Covenant church and was ordained as a Pastor in 2022. Jide was known for his Bible study sessions that helped so many in their relationship with God, and was a pillar of the church having played a key role in a number of important projects.

Jide brought enthusiasm and positive energy to all that he did, and always made time in his busy schedule to help those who asked. His personality always filled the room and as a result he touched so many lives with his kindness. Jide put others before himself and would do anything in his power to put a smile on people’s faces.

As a lifelong Arsenal fan, Jide was extremely proud to see his team win 0 – 6 in the final game before his passing.

Jide leaves behind his beloved wife Olusola and five beautiful children; Oluwatosin, Modupeoluwa, Oluwasemilore, Toluwalase and Omotayo. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this heartbreaking time.
